This is one of my favourite designers, Hanna Tonek Bonnett. She studied at Central Saint Martins and is now living in London. She makes a lot of cool stuff like vases and light holders, in porcelain clay with punched out patterns on the outside and colorful, flocked insides. I am especially fond of the T-cups.
Lots of perfume-researching and nerding going on this week. My favourite is “Flowerbomb” by Viktor & Rolf. The bottle is in the shape of a hand grenade.
We are having our second specialization. This time I choose design. Last monday we got three briefs from Noko jeans. We will create and pitch a visual identity and develop concepts for launch activities for them.
The presentation is done both in front of the client and the class and it went well. Now it’s still weekend, I am taking it easy and listening to Beirut. Sundays are the best.

This is the new video from Bat for Lashes. I really love love the song but I am a bit unsure of the video. Except for the cool props. It is directed by Johan Renck.
I always seem to end up updating my blog when I should be doing other things. Anyway, this is what is going on right now. Last week I went back home to snowy Småland where I grew up to do the individual assignment in the Marketing & Promotion module. We were to promote Hyper Island, how to do this was optional but I choose to go back to my old school and participate in a fair for universities and KY (AVET) programs. I brought as much catalogues as I could but there still was none left after two hours. It was a lot of fun talking to the students, even though I felt a bit hestitant at first about going back there again.
Now we are working with real clients for the first time. My groups client is Svea, a swedish school council. We had our first meeting with them today at their office at Södermalm. After that we had chinese food for lunch and then we went to Josefine’s place to work on the concept.
